It was implied in the vid but not explicitly stated: radars have a maximum range! If your radars haven't found anything, you might need to move some radars further out.

Also when your base gets bigger, placing radars all around your base is very convenient! With radars scattered all around you can see a detailed view of your whole base while in map view.

Lastly, if your closest oil looks pretty far away, that's a great time to learn trains!!!! Trains are my favorite part of Factorio.

Blue science is where im at now snd ots super overwhelming. I dont want to gove up on factorio, hopefully ill get ot figured out soon

Really liked this setup, and while I'm sure this series is done, one thing I noticed is that you should flip flop your boilers and steamers, you can feed coal into the system easier that way leading to much easier power scaling. (assuming you have the coal to keep up)

Good video! Spend some more time going over your final setup however, i often don't want to figure it out myself and look for screenshots of finalised production lines
