So info chans father is the journalist who traveled overseas to escape ryoba and we know that Ayano's parents are overseas from the befriend/betray method. And we know info Chan listened to the recordings. I have a theory. Info Chan is trying to get revenge on ryoba by most likely causing something to happen to ayano or. She's getting revenge on her father. Also great vid btw

I still think the games gonna end with a reveal that Info-Chan was the villain all along. She helped Ayano while compiling evidence for the police to get revenge for her father

Not sure if someone mentioned it but, if you eliminate Osana without killing her, Info-Chan will say something different, about how she's disappointed with Osana being alive.

I don't know if this also counts, but if you enter Noclip Mode and go into the InfoChan room, she will say "Get. Out." and the game will restart the day

I like to think that info-chan actually has a crush on Taro as well and is using you (ayano) to eliminate all 10 rivals without getting her hands dirty, then if you tried to eliminate her, she would use the last 10 weeks of footage/pictures/evidence to blackmail you so you would have to find a new way to get rid of her without her knowing. Def not what's happening, but I like giving myself lore

If you're somehow able to get Ayano into info-chan's room, info-chan will say "Get. Out!" before restarting the day. Kind of gives me a theory that the whole game is a simulation and info-chan is the creator of said simulation, which is how she can just restart the day if you get in her room. Also, I had no idea that info-chan is stalking you during the cutscene where Kokona asks you if you want to do the tutorial.

I think Ayano, Mr.journalist and info chan was innocent..
Ryoba just teach Ayano the same things as she did

Theory: Info-Chan is attempting to lure Ayano into a false sense of comfort to get her to spill information about Ryoba. This would help clear her father's name. Plus, it would explain why Info-Chan is so adamant about helping Ayano, seemingly out of nowhere for no reason. And if Ayano does end up murdering someone, then it would only help prove Info's claim even further. Meaning that she sees Ayano, and all the students of Akademi, as nothing more than collateral in getting her father in the good graces of the public eye once more.

Oh and, there is a possibility that Info-Chan has been hired by Saikou Corp. to spy on Ayano. As seen from the ending of 202X mode, when the headmaster is seen on the phone with Mr. Saikou, talking about "necessary sacrifices". Another thing to back this is another part of the 1980s mode S+ ending, where Ryoba's senpai is taken by Saikou Corp. for an unknown reason. This could all be leading to the company finding a way to expose the Aishi family once and for all. And to do all this, Saikou would've needed to hire a very competent hacker that spies on Ayano and the entire student population. The headmaster was not in on the bigger plan because he was so touché about anything else bad happening in his school.

Even if Info-chan is gathering clues and information about Ayano's murders.. Think about her reputation. It was said that if her identity was revealed, her reputation would drop to -999. She herself can be put in jail for what she did and not even listened to.

Ok this is a random theory but you know how when you get the S+ ending in 1980s and it shows the timeline. What if Ryoba's sister is the one who fell in love with the journalist and became his wife and the reason we no info about her is because she died while giving birth to info chan. Does this make sense? The timeline fits perfectly

The camera isn't hers. It was set up by the headmaster who tried to use it to spy on her after she blackmailed him into letting her stay there. She hacked it and told him if he tried something like that again he'd regret it, so now she uses it.

So out of everything we know so far, It's either that Info Chan's either trying to get revenge on her father or she's trying to get revenge on Ryoba since she's the reason the Journalist AKA Info Chan's father went overseas and so she's collecting evidence by helping Ayano so she can get her arrested and get revenge on Ryoba.

The journalist’s wife is assumed to be Ryoba’s sister. It’s semi hinted in the tapes.. I think Info Chan maybe gets where Ayano is coming from.. so she helps her.. there also is another theory that she and Ayano like the same boy and by helping Ayano she’s incriminating her.. but this means there will be multiple endings to the game, since there are no canon deaths for rivals.. and if we use the befriend/matchmaking method.. info Chan won’t have anything but the fact we stalk Taro.. which apparently is common because every rival’s lover interest (non senpai) stalks them..

i'm glad that you decided to show us all present things about info chan. i didn't know that we can listen to tapes in the game. there is something that it's not in the video. there is a channel called drippy who does myhts about yandere simulator. they found something with a myth. when you gossip about info chan with a bug, she..eh y'know. she kills herself or she pretends it and then when u try to look at her info from student info (sorry for bad grammar if i did a typo) u can find her real name. it's mao ito. and since we know his father is mr journalist his surname is ito. drippy did that myth for mr journalist in 1980s mode. his name is yua ito. idk what is info chan's mother's name but, that is what i have to say now.

honestly i think info is actually trying to help ayano even if she is the journalist daughter. i saw something somewhere where yandere dev said info chan wouldn’t be the type of backstabbing rival or smth idk
