Israel launches ‘preemptive’ strikes on Hezbollah

Israeli officials say they’ve launched a preemptive strike across southern Lebanon bombing Hezbollah rocket launchers embedded in civilian areas. Hezbollah rejects this version of events and said they used rockets to knock down Israeli infrastructure. NBC’s Daniele Hamamdjian reports for TODAY.

Preemptive? That’s where you launch a new attack. Supposedly to counter a fantasy attack against one’s self that hasn’t happened yet. But mostly it is a new attack fully intended to do great harm to the enemy. Could be called murder sometimes. Depends what side you are on.
