Very good video, I like that you explain things very simplified for newbies, the best way to understand enneagram 3 is understanding that it's in the center of the image triad, in the same way that E9 is in the center of the gut triad and E6 is in the center of the head triad.

Interesting and insightful video; thanks. Points I would be interested in hearing you address include (you mentioned how an SO 3 looks like an SP 7, and how an SO 3 looks like a 1-Core or SP 1) how to differentiate between these types that are difficult to tell the difference from each other, even in one's self at times. You touched on these points a little bit, and a deeper analysis would be welcomed and helpful.

Fun fact about SO3 is that their idea of prestige is different than I (and many other people) thought:
Their goal is to not be prestigious among "normal" people, but among elites. Do you know who's CEO of YouTube? (it's Neal Mohan), Coca-Cola? (it's James Quincey).
Normal person won't know this, but they don't care about normal person. They want to be seen as prestigious among elites, among people that matter (normal people don't matter to them), that's why we don't see that many SO3s among most popular actors or musicians, even though these people are VERY prestigious, but mostly to "normal" people.

Great explanation but not sure I fully agree with the sp3 description though - it sounds too LSEish. I'm an LIE sp3 and the part about high-quality perfection do everything yourself is not really my thing. I am more of a get a project going and outsource it because si polr - can't focus on details. Then again maybe I'm just delusional being both self-deceit and Ne-demo. Everything else about sp3 is spot on

Can SP3 lie about their life? Can other types lie about their life to make themselves look better?

Like about achievements, personal life. I don’t generally lie and am very honest to others about my weaknesses and strengths, about my life, but I still committed lies to make myself look better. It was like only a couple of times in my life, but still question it.
