Rivian bought roughly 1800 acres of land near Atlanta a couple years ago but the project was stalled because they were running low on money.
That's until Uncle Sam (ie/ taxpayers) stepped up to offer them a $6 billion loan. Technically it will be $6.6B because they're rolling interest into it for some f'd up reason.
The big question though:
Who is going to buy all these EV's?!!?
