I think the funniest thing is that it's not Jon telling his own opinion here, unlike BDG.
No no no. He is being *given* the knowledge into his brain. The absolute FACT that Sonic is a god or could kill god, and he cannot handle it. The very fact that he is presented with "Is a god OR could kill one" means even the Beholding does not know, and therefore Sonic is beyond even fear itself.
