Apple, Google, Facebook & Amazon hearing: what you need to know

CEOs of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google testified before Congress in the tech antitrust hearing. Lawmakers squared off with the chief executives of the tech industry’s four most powerful players. Even though each company is under antitrust scrutiny for different reasons, the committee used this week’s hearing to point out similarities between all four, making the case for future regulatory reform.

They obviously learned from their experience with Mark Zuckerberg, their questions actually make sense, and frankly quite good lol

They are just dancing around the questions, because they are experts in their fields and the people sitting in Congress barely know anything. Most of them don't even ask the right questions, which is why they get away so easily. What we need is people who are in the same field/expertise that can nail this people down. Anyone who works in IT knows that these companies are collecting sensitive data embedded in there code, which the regular user can't see. Just imagine if people like Edward Snowden would question these companies in front of congress.

Control of the marketplace huh? Wouldn't it be weird if there was a platform that controlled the marketplace of video content... that also used that marketplace to arbitrarily restrict and deplatform creators following the rules.
