Sin, Tan and Cos are each positive in 2 quadrants and negative in 2 quadrants. The diagram in my solution shows CAST reading anti-clockwise from 4th quad. This can be helpful as it indicates which functions are positive in each quadrant. Cos is positive in 1st and 4th quadrants. We want Cos negative in this question so it is the 2nd and 3rd quadrants required.
