Dear Pam, I thought of you right away when I heard the sad news that someone had attempted to take the life of a former U.S. president and current candidate. (So sad for those who did lose a loved one.)

How amazing that you, I believe, had seen the potential for something this radical to happen. Thank God DT was ok. Whether anyone likes him or not, it is an awful thing for this country to see any leader, any human being, be targeted.
