How can schools possibly be short funding? Here in PA i pay $6k of property taxes on a $325k house and they keep going up. Seniors and reired folks are struggling to pay these taxes. Where's all the money going?

I live in Tampa. I don’t see why there’s a shortage. I4, 275 and 75 always has construction. We building a new bridge over the bay. The property taxes are through the roof. We growing in leaps and bounds but we still don’t have funds. Sounds like there’s a leak somewhere…

You do have to pay more, of course, but I feel like they will last me as long as I'm alive. I'm 41. I do love your conversations, and your guests are a great addition to your channel. Todd, you’re wrong about Wall Street not getting involved until the early 2000’s and when house inflation started. It actually started in the 1970’s with a Wall Street firm called Solomon Brothers that started buying and selling mortgages and their derivatives. There’s a good book on it called Liar’s Poker by Michael Lewis. I recommend getting the audio version of it.

My son was a wrestling coach (NCAA champion) and a special ed teacher, had to quit both to be a roof adjuster because as a single guy couldn't afford his house, roofing job pays 4x what teachers pay. And he also had a side job in the summer too. They don't pay enough, bottom line.
