Great in almost every way except the bezel! Better looking than the Speedmaster Racing Chrono 40mm. I only wish Omega had kept the standard bezel design.

I really like this, it corrects a lot of issues that I have with the standard moonwatch, it has a glossy dial with metallic hands and indices instead of the matte grey dial and plastic hands of the bigger brother. I just bought a Bulgari Aluminum Chronograph but if I knew this model existed I may have bought it instead.

Thanks for including some detail about the coaxial escapement. As an old architect and amateur watchmaker hobbyist, I enjoy design critique and aesthetics and the history. But understanding the mechanics brings greater appreciation to the hobby.

Just discovered your channel. Love it! Thank you for your your very clear explanation of the Co-axial escapement. I have watched countless watch videos over the last year. You are the first person to present a simple and well illustrated explanation.

I have a small wrist. I recently bought a reference 175.0032 speedy reduced (1988). I must say I was second guessing myself while watching your video - right till the end, when you said "we don't buy watches with our heads, do we?" and that cleared every doubt I had for my recent purchase and adore it even more now. and super clear explanation on the co-axial movement. Cheers bud appreciate it

Great video. I picked one up just before Christmas and am loving it. So nice to see a vid on it, one of the first channels to do so.

Hoping it stays under the radar. Haven't met anyone else with one yet!

Great video, very informative! This is the first time someone made the effort to explain the coaxial escapement, with graphics.

Outstanding production, great looking watch. I also have slimmer wrists and went with the MK40 (not the Ben Clymer, the classic one)
What I miss on this 38mm Co-axial is the classic Speedmaster Pro look with the white markers and hands. Would have been cool if Omega made a version in the classic Speedy look.

Delving into the tech part of the escapement was extremely interesting to this enthusiast. Quartz has its place in my collection, but mechanical watches are what makes this hobby amazing for me… Thanks for a great piece!

Been keeping an eye on this reference hoping it goes unnoticed so the grey market prices flatline a little more. Happy new year buddy

I think this became my new grail watch. I insist on a 39mm dial. And this version updates with improved movement and sapphire crystal. I'm walking into an Omega boutique right now to ask if they have it 😆

I've been eyeing the Moonwatch for my first "nice" and mechanical watch, but I really can't get used to not having a date display (I check mine all the time). Plus I have a smaller wrist, so this one actually seems perfect.

The more I look at it, the more I want it.

Fantastic video, Max! I feel like you really upped your game with the cinematography and editing on this one, and the music choices were great as well. Really looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2021!

One super nitpicky suggestion I've been thinking about for a while that I think could possibly make your videos feel even more professional—don't be afraid to try letting the music from one section bleed a little more into the next section before fading it out completely. In particular, I think your title intro (at 24 seconds) could benefit from less of an abrupt music transition.

Just something to consider; keep up the awesome work!

Very informative video, I think I’ll have to watch it about 20 times to understand the co-axial, cheers for the video, very refreshing to see a different style watch review, appreciated, cheers mate from James, England.

I got this watch. Its a great watch. I also have a no-date Sub, and I can't tell you how many times i have to dig my phone out to get the date when I have to sign off on forms. (At that point I already see the time on the phone too, so the watch becomes totally ornamental. Not necessarily a bad thing. I also dislike the Rolex Cyclops.). For work, its a better watch. The date function is done so well - so unobtrusive but legible when you need it, unlike other date windows. Small enough to be a dressy watch, along with the shiny applied indices. However enough classic Speedmaster DNA to wear causally with jeans. Water resistant to 100m is another plus. (unlike 50m for even the recently updated Speedmaster professional) The bracelet is like a Presidential style bracelet - all the comfort but without the jangling. It's a true "go anywhere, do anything" watch.

You should do a slim wrist collaboration with Teddy B. Seriously you both have a similar approach that would be good collaboration
