I hope I don't come across as a troll by saying this but, how is the first guy that replied to her a troll? (09:12) He only flipped the roles around, which from my impartial point of view, is totally fair to do in the discussion to shed light on how it sounds from the other gender's perspective when she's wording it in a way that can be interpret as downgrading a specific gender and some of those in the gender that are already down (hence the suicide statistic). She then replied "doesn't work that way lol, try again", which is really hard to interpret as seeing genders from both sides and is very easily seen as sexist.

No beef against her at all, I got the impression from this video that she isn't sexist and I totally agree with her first tweet and thought it was funny, the only thing I disagree with is really just the reply. So my suggestion of an improvement of the reply would be "Of course it works the other way around, I wasn't trying to make this a gender question" or simply not saying anything to him, that way it would be impossible to interpret it the wrong way.

She definitely does not deserve death threats or other unnecessary hate from the tweet and I admire her for coming on this show to talk about it. Her reply was most likely a mistake and she probably already knows this but I just wanted to share what I thought about the tweet and propose an alternative side she could think of if she ever receive similar tweets in the future.

Thanks for reading with an open mind (didn't intend it to be so long lol, sry about that)

To me this video is educational towards letting go of your gender-ego and to be able to understand how the other gender feels in the same scenario if the genders were swapped.

I used to have a girlfriend that didn't pull her weight even close compared to me. And honestly I can relate to her when she speaks about a man that doesn't pull his weight in a relationship. I 100% think that it's very much equal. So from my part, I don't have any gender-ego where I think the scenario can't be swapped. The scenario can be swapped 100%, man or woman.

Btw the relationship was difficult, I had to work hard to make it work because of her low effort. I did at least 80% of the daily chores and tasks. I also had to push everything and come up with ideas. With my new girl I feel less stress and I feel that it's way more fun because we both pull weight equally.

..So the way Ferrellcat replies to that user saying it doesn't work that way is just so stupid and pure arrogance. Be able to understand the scenario from the other genders perspective if the roles were switched. Also the attitude was just childish.

And thus the troll whisperer came to be. I love the idea of a troll cave in discord where trolls can come to talk about why they do it.

This breaks my heart she went through the whole witch hunt in discord servers, social media & death threats. I went though the same situation for years including the witch hunt in discord, social just name it. I hope she is doing okay and the negativity has stopped. If she reads this just know you have a supporter over here.🙏🏻❤️

I actually agree with what she said in the Tweet, masculine and femenine energy are different. Think of masculine energy as a Tank in a videogame, and femenine energy as a Support in a videogame. Both are really important but they are very different in what roles they are better at. But the thing is...her response was very inflamatory "it doesn't work that way lol try again" is just inviting the hate. Should have explained what she ment instead, or...how about you stay away from posting personal opinions on social media If you're an influencer and you keep those to the person who know you IRL?

LOL I agreed with her at first. I thought her tweet was fine and I didnt see the problem with it.... Then her tweet came out. I couldnt disagree more. Tons of guys date women and dont care about their jobs. As long as shes cute, nice, and easy to talk to then she's a keeper for most men.

I'm half way through and tweet still feels unfair. It sounded originally like girl can put no effort and its fine.

Are women higher in value? They don't need to bring anything to the table according to her logic

11:00 yeah, both sides should put in effort and agree upon expectations, and have a need to be open and communicate, and that first tweet is true, but the guy replying is also just as true.
goes on to say how it doesn't matter the genders, if one person is dead weight, but if she thought that then how does "doesn't work that way lol try again" make any sense? I suppose that is addressing her reply in a way but It just feels unsatisfying lol.
Nothing but respect for coming on though, and thank you for interesting content

I would disagree that pretty women are mistreated or not taken seriously, the benefit greatly from the halo effect.

When forming a first impression, observing an initial attractive feature—perhaps beauty or strength—can make the person appealing, making it difficult to revise that impression based on new or opposing information. For example, an attractive individual may also be perceived as interesting, ambitious, or funny, whether or not that assessment is warranted.

it's so painful to see her not being able to get over herself. her disrespectful reply was insensitive, sexist, ignorant and portrays a disgusting double standard. that is not real problem. sure, it's disgusting she even thinks like that, but humans make mistakes and that's okay, but the way she tries to blame others by saying "they feel like they're not enough" is even more disgusting. own your mistakes. trying to defend yourself portraying a degenerate opinion like that is so embarassing.

God, women really do hate when you just straight up reverse what they say lmao nobody misconstrued anything. You said some dumb shit and got called out for it and couldn't handle it.

Women to the hot new female worker: a threat, competition and therefore will be mean to her

Men to the hot new female worker: not a threat, want her sexually and therefore nice to her

Although that's a generalisation (not all women/not all men/not everyone is hetero etc), it's something I have experienced myself and can offer as one possible explanation ☺️

I feel like Dr. K didn't support her well enough in this case. She may have replied in annoyed or unfair way but she didn't deserve death threats and all that hate.

I guess I also watched a lot of feminist Youtube videos this year, and it was hard to accept at first. But I think they make a good point. Women don't get treated equally, and we have to make a conscious effort to right that balance. Although I guess I understand how that would mean that the privileged people are the ones who feel discriminated against.

Lastly, regarding suicide being mostly men, I think that really is tragic. We're privileged in many ways but I guess we're not privileged when it comes to emotion or mental health.
