Actors Kevin Sorbo and Cuba Gooding Jr. stopped by the CCM Cafe to talk with Brandon Woolum about their new film 'The Firing Squad,' in theaters August 2nd. Based on a true story, 'The Firing Squad' follows three Christian prisoners who face execution and inspire an entire prison camp to embrace faith.

I saw this movie tonight. It is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The story is very compelling, and should have been a great movie, but this had horrible acting, horrible, writing, and a horrible Director. It fits the awful stereotype that all Christian movies are terrible. Christian movies should be much better, this was just plain awful. They should both be ashamed.

OK think of the worst movie you’ve ever seen and then cut the budget by like 90% and you have this movie. It’s not a true story, it’s LOOSELY based on a story. Very very loosely based. Because nothing that happens in this movie ever occurs in real life.
