Ariana's whistle register has improved so much, I love it. I believe she is a really nice and down to earth person. Her talents are immense but under-utilised - mainly because she has been trying to avoid being compared to Mariah especially the whistle register.

One main reason is she idolises and respects Mariah so much. To me Mariah has always been the best vocalist ever but Ariana's vocal talents can stand on their own. I do agree with some comments that Oh Santa was an important point in her career that her idol Mariah helped endorse her whistles, it sorta let her let loose and showcase her own whistles - I think it's great, it "liberated" her. Now I hope in her next albums, she would start accessing more deeply into her vocal talents and make me a huge fan. Her current songs are not really showcasing her full vocal talents.
