heard this song in a coffee shop three years ago in a town i had just moved in to. unemployed, filling out job applications, i heard this song come on. the barista said she'd found this dylan record and put it on for the hell of it. funny how insignificant events like that are unforgettable.

I am Sarah Jane - named after my mother's eldest sister...I was born in 1955. When the birth announcements came out, my great-grandfather (on my FATHER"S side) sent a letter to my mother thanking her for naming me after his mother! His mother came "around the horn" to settle in California in 1849. Sarah Janes on both sides of the family! And where I work out of a couple hundred emp there are 4 Sarahs...2 of us are Sarah Jane.

Columbia Records revenge album. Bob left Columbia and went to Asylum.  Columbia released this album of Self Portrait outakes.  Bob has said that these tracks were just to warm up and were not for release. Columbia said they had a lot more such tracks for release. Bob took Columbia to court to stop the release. After releasing a studio album (Planet Waves) and a live album ( Before the Flood) Bob went back to Columbia and this album was deleted. It was for a short time available on cd from Columbia in the 90's in North America
