Advocacy groups are preparing to fight a number of bills that suppress the rights of LGBTQ+ people nationwide. CBS News anchors Tanya Rivero and Elaine Quijano spoke with National Black Justice Coalition Executive Director David Johns about how these laws impact the LGBTQ+ community.

The Florida bill does not ban discussion around LGBTQ. It banns school curriculum involving sex education and gender fluid identify to Kindergartners through 3rd grade.

We all have our own beauties we shouldn't have to be forced not to love who we want to love we all are human and these politics are just messing with everyone but for what? Just to satisfy some few people. The world is already tearing itself apart and stupid things like this are just making things worse but since people including adults aren't mature enough to let things go the world might as well just continue to tear. It's so hard to find people that actually take the time to think and actually think of the possibilities of ones action. I really do just hope that people wake up soon and things get better.
