People aren’t understanding the brilliance in that scene. The juxtaposition of him being vulnerable and nestled in the bosom of a familiar woman whom he confided in…vs how fierce and ripped he was when he stood up. And the foreshadowing of him being tired of his brother’s shit. *chef’s kiss*

i’m glad ewan felt safe and comfortable while filming it. though for aemond, having his brother laugh at his vulnerable moments in privacy is just too sad

Look the way he stood up and walked off was incredible! He even left his shoes and eye patch! That was a powerful scene.

You know what this scene was to me. An inverse mirror of Cersei's walk of shame. Cersei begins her walk proud and without caring (in the books at least) but later on she feels shamed and tries to hide. Here Aemond begins afraid hiding from the eyes of those that mock him but then stands and as he walks away reclaims his pride in a way telling them I am untouchable and beyond any of you. Absolutely brilliant

Ewan Mitchell is one of my new favorite actors, he seems like such a sweetheart .And his acting is great!

I'm baffled by the abundance of people criticising the scene for being uncomfortable to watch. A naked body is the most natural thing, he just stands up and walks away, an adult guy. What is the big deal? Are people just so sensitive to nudity or what? Since when are human bodies something so utterly special to look at?

The scene was integral to the story. It's about showing his 'manliness' and invulnerability even at his most vulnerable state.
