Just to watch Charlie Brown sing... "Well woke up this morning with a wine glass in my hand
Whose wine, what wine, where the hell did I dine?"...
It's well worth watching!

I want to share something here, and I hope I make this sound as positive as possible. My sister passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, and her service is tomorrow as I write this (May 24). She graduated high school in 1976, and I am her little brother (she was born in 1957, and me in 1969). I am friends with a lot of her high school friends (my sister babysat me, so I was there a lot), and even though I was not quite 7 when she graduated, I probably can relate to the Class of '76 as much I can the Class of '87. I love the movie Dazed and Confused, possibly because I was there. Sorta. I know I missed out on some of the recreational "advantages" that were around at the time. (Or did I? Who knows what those aromas could have done to a 50 pound 6 year old? And I might be overestimating that weight. I am 48 now and still only 137 pounds). Of course, Frampton Comes Alive! was huge then. This is something I am going to share with her friends tonight and over the next few days. This is gonna bring some smiles to some people who really need them.

I forgot how great this song is; to see it with Peanuts to remind me is brilliant. Well done! BRAVO! BRAVO!

I can't believe you pulled this one off, honestly. I mean, it's a 14-minute song, for goodness sake. Of course, looking back on my 70s childhood, it's hard to believe any of it: a live rock record being SO huge, a cartoon about a kid with low self-esteem. Watching this is weirdly touching, even heartbreaking: we can mourn a whole period of time that's long, long gone. I.e., my childhood, in which Peanuts and Frampton ruled. Seeing them together makes perfect sense.

I saw him do this live at the old Waldorf in San Francisco in 82'. It was f-n great.

That was so awesome, I watched it twice. Don’t think I’ll ever view Peter Frampton the same way again.
