Florida State vs. SMU Condensed Game | 2024 ACC Football

Playing in Dallas, the SMU Mustangs hosted Florida State and took down the Seminoles, 42-16. SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings completed 16 of 23 passes for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Brashard Smith carried the ball 17 times for 129 yards and a touchdown and caught 3 passes for 50 yards. Mustangs TE RJ Maryland caught 3 passes for 30 yards, including 2 touchdowns. For Florida State, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns, but also threw 3 interceptions in the loss.

As a Clemson guy, I wanted to see DJ do well this year. I thought that it was unlikely, however.He tends to get worse the longer he plays. Dabo stuck with him too long and Norvell seems to be doing the same.
