Beginner tutorial: How to amigurumi octopus 🐙

Btw, for anyone who needs help with the abbreviations:

sc- single crochet
inc- increase
dec- decrease
slip st- slip stitch

For anyone having difficulty making / closing the magic ring. I got one specially for fuzzy yarn: slipknot, chain 1, and then do the amount of single crochets needed into the slipknot. Hope that helps :) (it did for me)

Next time please show you putting on the eyes before you stuff it because I was half way through the tentacles when I realized I forgot to put on the eyes but this is a good pattern

This guy is really cute. I want to make him and add to my collection however, I need to know what brand of yarn, and hook size please. I did have to turn the volumn down, don't like the music. For those who say this is hard. not beginner friendly I would say that this is NOT a learn to crochet tutorial. It assumes that you have the basics and are past the chain and crochet dishcloth stage.

Omg I have to say it’s my second day crocheting and I was able to follow this tutorial and got a little octopus 🐙 ❤ I just don’t have the eyes yet. I didn’t realize I need to count as I go so I messed up the head but the rest came out so cute! Wish I could post a pic 😂
