What another Trump presidency means for Africa | DW News

Donald Trump will be returning to the White House, after winning the US presidential elections this week. During the last Trump administration, Africa did not feature prominently. In fact, US-Africa policy was largely driven by Washington's desire to counter the influence of China and Russia. Otherwise, the Trump government maintained security cooperation and attempted to turn the relationship mostly towards trade.
