Wow didn’t expect that finish. Love it!

That lid looks about ready to implode! At 2:32 you can even see more cracks forming! You really need a tempered glass lid with cactus juice, despite what Turntex say it does seem to attack the acrylic lids.

Thats awesome, I have never thought of stabilizing cork before, brilliant. I am doing a knife build series on my channel now also.

Nice idea dan. Did you see if it floats aswell after the resin? If your having trouble with bubbles in the resin, try tapping the sides of the mould to help release the bubbles. If you have a variable speed jigsaw you can use it without the blade to help tapping the mould.

Great video! Does the handle still have the feeling of cork, or more resin/epoxy?

Did any of the epoxy get pregnated in the cork after stabilizing?

Could you please share the brand/name of the silicon mold? I've been using 'mini silicone bread pans' but the walls are very thin and flexible.

Maaan... at 2:33 that lid is really cracking up. I'd be worried it will implode next time you use it.

Not everyone can afford the equipment you have. Switch off you put it in a compressor 🙈
