this is actually what I was already trying, but for some reason I can't find anything under .tmp except the key itself (no default value). Really frustrating, since Windows automatically associates a program with a type the first time you tell it how to open something that happens to have that extension, even if the extension is actually a generic one like .tmp or .dat

nevermind, I'm dumb. Didn't actually watch the video all the way through and assumed you were going to go to the same area of the registry. This helped despite my ignorance! Thanks!

I wanna be able to save a file aa pdf using the this formar "filename 10.06.21" but is saves as .21 file. It worked before but now it defaults to. 21

I set always open with notepad now everything I download does so in notepad form how do I set it back to pc default plz plz help
