How about the MTA stop mismanaging the money.

Maybe the MTA would have more money in their budget if they stop wasting millions of dollars installing digital ads in subway stations that nobody looks at or reads

Government should take control of this company... Privately owned publicly funded and accountable to no one.

You raise the fare, I hop over the turnstile. Simple!

I got an electric scooter. I recommend everyone invest in one. It’ll save you money. It will save you time. And you don’t have to sit on crowded trains or buses.

In Chile when they tried to raise the metro fare, the people overthrew their whole government. I wonder what will New Yorkers do...nothing

Tolls up 8% = $6.80???? Does she mean the total will become $6.80 or it will go up $6.80?

Cut pay and stop these projects that are not an emergency at this time raising fares during a pandemic is not the answer

When are they going to stop the fake, covered and no plate vehicles from avoiding the tolls

One of the main reasons people are beating fares is because the MTA is not servicing the MetroCard machines and more often than not when your card runs out you're not able to fill it up at the station that you're trying to get into because the machines will either say no cash or single fare as only and this is a problem if you only have cash or if you need an unlimited and can't afford to waste an additional $3 on a single fare when you know you're going to have to still get the unlimited that you need the following day or when you get off the train but most likely the MetroCard machine when you get off the train is going to be out of service too. so if you cant fill up your MetroCard but you have to get home then obviously you're only choice is to jump the turnstile.

Stop asking the federal gov't for bailout money.
Why would Trump bail out an anarchist jurisdiction?

I hope they go out of business soon so Someone more competent can take over. It will be amazing if Amazon buys out MTA and turns it into the next big thing

For starters, they could resume overnight service. They're losing money everyday by keeping the subway closed from 1a-5a. That was a really dumb move on cuomo's part.

The mta here in nyc has mismanaged there funds for decades this is proven year after year. Us new Yorkers see this. It will get to the point where most people will either walk through the gate or find other ways of transportation. Raising fares and doing away with the unlimited are a death sentance for the mta I predict it will collapse withen 2 years. There are millions in abused funds every year with the mta.
