i loved the wild era games but both of them exist in a state of emergency pretty much always bc of calamity ganon. i think it would be hella cool to see a zelda game begin in a thriving, lively world bc it would make the conflict that much worse

I feel like it would be really cool if you could uograde your runes. So like ultra hand becomes super hand, allowing link to attach more stuff, or ultimate rewind, making rewind last longer.

As much as I like the final product of totk, after seeing the many revelations in the masterworks book, I can safely say there were MANY VERY GOOD missed opportunities that could have made totk even better.
We could have finally established Link and Zelda’s relationship through the festival and give totk a more grim and somber tone upon losing Zelda but sadly Nintendo scrapped it.But at the end of the day, I still enjoy totk but just wished some of these ideas actually came true

Before TotK Released I was really hoping there would be a section of peaceful hyrule at the start like the festival.

Another cool thing about the festival if they went through with it would be actually showing hyrule castle town now in complete ruin like it has been in both games which would be a nice tone setter

I think it would of been interesting to have the festival with the rebuilt castle town. It would have given that area a new found atmosphere. In breath of the wild we saw the ruins of a town abandoned for centuries but in Tear of the Kingdom we could have gotten a newly built settlement having to be evacuated, traveling through it would Eerie with everything still in pristine condition but no one around. The only think that would be damaged would be the castle

I like how it also tells that Rauru and Sonia channeled their powers through Link as if he was some kind of conduit. What was it that Link had that made it possible? Some kind of strong Bond with Zelda that made it possible?

I actually kind of like that they didn't start with the festival. I like that it gave the game an indeterminate amount of time between the two (correlating with the progress we see) that was left to the player to decide for themselves. Especially with zelda's bold new look
