Everything is all twisted and snagged up and all I use is the delicate settings!! It mangles clothes and leaves them beyond wrinkled- virtually creased

If only if this was a direct drive with a rinse dispenser it would be a great washer that many people will want to buy over the HE ones. I still remember the old Amanas where it was basically the same as the speed queens

NTW4516FW doesn't have a soap dispensor, and you're supposed to use HE detergent, which you can't just pour on your clothes.

I just bought this set a week ago. About a year and half ago made a huge mistake buying a kenmore front loading set from sears. Dryer failed would shut off all the time. Washer would not clean cloths i would have to hand wash em then put in the washer. Called sears many times nothing. After spending 1, 600.00 on that pile of crap. I wanted a normal washer and still paying off old ones. I bought these on sale for 299.99 each. I couldnt be happier cloths go in dirty come out clean. dryer drys wow. Only thing i dont like is even on the auto sense load still seems to use a lot of water. I knew my water bill gonna go back up with these. Am i missing something?

Does the lid have to be closed for the water to turn on? I like to pour detergent in while the water is running, then rinse the cap. Same with fabric softener.

This was a gift so I'll take it and use it, but would never recommend purchasing. Loads take FOREVER! There is no easy way to pause a cycle for adding clothes or fabric softener. The dryer, also less than a year old, takes two cycles to fully dry jeans and towels. I take large loads to the laundromat.

How do you get the machine to pause? I pushed the button that says pause but it still wouldn't unlock. I want to use liquid fabric softener.

this washer gets stuck on wash cycle or sometimes rinse but I think it's because we have poor water pressure at home we have a well system😢

How can i keep my lid open so i can watch it wash my clothes like the video showed, cuz i tried to keep it open but the lid stayed locked, so how can i bypass it, i have the same washer that's in this video.

I have the top load Amana with agitator -  there is no where to put fabric softener - when you try to pause (which mine does not work the majority of the time) it drains all the water.  If I add fabric softener at that point -  it does not rinse the clothes -  I don't have a manual.

can you take the top off the agitator and add fabric softener in there? it comes off easily
