Several wonderful banjos from the Factory Order Number F5883 were at Banjothon, this is the latest discovery, surfacing a few months ago. Jim does not own it, but the owner was there and Dewey was gracious enough to share with all.

That sure is nice, David. Jim has got such superior tone. He came to Lansing, MI for a banjo camp this past year, and even though the doors were closed, people said they could hear Jim in the elevators!

Super nice guy, and I always enjoy playing and talking with him, and he and I backed up each other on both of our banjos.

@DavidHedrick That's ok. It is such a good banjo that I wanted to see it a little better. But the audio is what really brings magic ;)

That someone would of course be I am no pro. When the camera is up close I need to shoot at a lower definition rate. Still learning to use the camera.

Dave, did that banjo have a straight-grain maple neck? I know a lot of those floor sweeps have those. Would appreciate hearing anything you know about that banjo.
