I love how Hordak just says "ok" when Entrapta hugs him and then he says her name so sofly when she's rambling on like he's trying to get Entrapta to slow down so that he can tell her he loves her.

I’m so glad they managed to make such a goofy and ditsy character without making them really annoying and unlike able, and I’m glad they managed to create such a moody, somewhat apathetic character which I didn’t find annoying either.

This is just my opinion- and I’m talking about Entrapta and Mermista lol

The “I remember you” is very important for people who feel like Hordak was just forgiven for all the hurt he had done.

It is the sign that Hordak is not the same person he was before, a hardened and bitter person who was manipulated and taught from brith to adhere to the conqueror persona of horde Prime.

Now he’s freed of Prime, and he’s reunited with the one person who cared for him and saw him as more then a defect and a mistake

and he remembers adora showing that he is finally able to care and love whereas before his heart was cold.

In season 3 when Adora asks why Hordak took her from her family, he says he barely remembers her as she was not important and he couldn’t care less

Him remembering her is to show that he’s changed, and more importantly that he is able to change.

Due to time constraints and episode limitations the crew have confirmed online that Hordak set out to fix and tame Beast island as penance for his crimes with Entrapda, and that he spent his life from then on trying to make amends and to help Etheria.
