Officials in Memphis are preparing to release police bodycam video from the arrest of Tyre Nichols. The encounter turned violent, and the 29-year-old was hospitalized. He died three days later.

I just watched the body cam footage and it is beyond horrible. Those former officers should get the death penalty as they abused their power as officers who are supposed to protect and serve.

The video is hard to watch. The callous and savage behavior towards another human being....there is something seriously wrong with these individuals...not just as police officers but as basic human beings. How the hell did these 5 individuals pass psychological screening and get hired as cops? If men like this can be hired as law enforcement officers then the standard to become a police officer needs to be higher. These individuals are just horrible human beings let alone police officers. Shame on the Memphis PD for hiring these individuals.

Oh my Lord God, I haven't even watched the entire video, and I don't know if I can or should continue to watch it. It's absolutely horrible what was done to that young man. My heart aches for him and his family. What has this world come to? People are so cruel and heartless these days, and it's so sad that some of the ones who are supposed to protect us and help us, are the ones who are hurting us. I pray everyday for my son and grandsons, that God will protect them daily. I have a grandson who.was 20 years old at the time, and was walking home from the hospital where he worked, that is across the street from where he lives, when he was stopped by the police for absolutely no reason. They claimed he " looked" suspicious. He doesn't look menacing at all. He's just tall, and he's one the most gentlest, kindest, and respectful young man that you could ever meet. He doesn't drink or do drugs, and has never committed a crime in his life. He just works everyday, and goes to a community College. He rarely even goes out with friends and tries to stay out of trouble. While the real criminals are out here wreaking havoc, they're harassing the innocent folks. Yet. I pray for them also. If it's one thing I've learned in my life is that God is a God of mercy, but He's also a God of justice. and we reap what we sow.😭😭😭😞
