As you can see here, we've got everything laid out, ready to start putting this onto our truck. It comes with everything you need to get this installed. It comes with your air box, your couplers, all your clamps, the air tube, the air filter, and all the bolts and stuff to put it together with.
So the first thing we need to do is get this OE air box out of this truck. I'm going to start by removing our cover for our engine. Pretty easy. It just snaps right out. Then we want to remove our mass airflow sensor where it plugs in. And on that, we have this special clip. These can be kind of a little bit of a bugger to get out.
Once those are loose, then we'll disconnect our breather tube. And also on the bottom down here, we have our radiator hose. It's attached to the hose here. It's kind of a plate. We have to deal, we have to get that out of there.
Now, we can remove our air tube. Next, we're going to un-clip the sensor. It's over the air box. It can require some ... to loosen that. And then we're going to remove our air box.
Now, we're going to remove the lower half of our air box. And you just pull up on it. It's got clips that clip it in there. And then we're going to remove our air box plate. Now, it's important to know that you need to save these bolts when we take these out. Because we'll need these to reattach our new A.F.E. Air Intake.
All right. Now we're going to start putting our air box together. And what we want to do first is install our air filter adapter into our air box. We do that by putting it through here. Okay. And then we'll line it up, and then use these button head screws to attach it.
Then, what we're going to do is remove our sensors from our old housing. Now, something to make note of.
