This is my mistake. I should of put the intermittent fault last and fixed the CO first. The customer doesn't pay for the failed repair.

Good morning .The ignition board is a common fault on vokera boilers Lynia and Syntaisy. It usually manifests itself by not ingniting intermittently and then progressively getting worse, till it eventually stops . It seems to be age related. The early Lynia had an all in one set up, so only one board. The Syntaisy where not exactly popular and with good reason being an earlier firm of condensing boiler .That one had probably not been serviced for a while. I had three cases where these boilers where continuingly dropping pressure but the course was not obvious turned out it was system water leaking into the condensating trap via the heat recovery pod, eventually could see the water dripping by disconnecting the condensate exit pipe , doubt there will be many of these about now.

Like u said pal, can't fix em all.
Vokera Linea, jazzed up to condense, old tech that just isn't up to what modern boilers now do, problematic to say the least.
Great video tho, Enjoy watching them :)

The metal pipe to the condense trap is very prone to pitting and leaking on Vokera boilers.

I would of adviced boiler replacement from the start as customer would be p off paying out for repair then be told you need a new boiler.

If you get that sticker the engineer MUST provide you with a warning notice saying why.

I don't follow plumber parts .heating geek has the best repair videos on YouTube by far. pb has great videos as well but more installs. Both nice guys from what I can see.

I Hate "B" rated boilers with bolt on flue gas recovery units, they are dead in the water effort though mate ;)

Good effort mate frustrating but she’s a goner lol !

You or your Company must be very cheap because the labour I would charge for these repairs would be more than the boiler plus after all your hard work your customer is still left with a old unreliable Boiler, like your videos
