PAPERBACK HEAD | Cassie & the Wolf Animation

Hii guys, been a little while since I posted a new animation, here's a lil something I made in my spare time over the span of about 2 weeks! These past few months I've been hard at work working on redesigns, concept art, rigs, and more for my animated project, Cassie & the Wolf. With the background style just about finalized and Wolf and Cassie's new rigs in need of some testing, I figured why not make a lil animation to one of my favourite songs? Honestly the process for this was overall pretty smooth, and it was fun to finally see everything start to come together. There's definitely some rig updates/fixes I need to make and maybe a few small stylistic changes I'll be making but ahhhh, things are really progressing and I'm finallyyyyy gonna be starting work on bigger things for this project, I'm sooo excited! I know I don't post about CATW a ton, but it's because it's been stuck in development hell for the past like, 4 years!?!? I even started a trailer back in the day, realized the style wasn't working, redid a lot of it, and then abandoned it lol... so it's really surreal that things are finally coming together. Stay tuned, because if all goes according to plan a teaser will be dropping this month!!!

Frustrated that nothing can seemingly go right in her life, Cassie Longwood feels it's finally time to make a big change. CASSIE & THE WOLF follows her journey as she runs away from home, leaving behind everything she's ever known. Along the way she finds unlikely companionship in a mysterious talking wolf, and the two pair up to traverse the hardships of the forest in search of a place they can call home. But, little do they know what threats are lurking in the shadows, and they're far from out of the woods yet...
