WOW! That was such a comparison I listened over and over. The 500’s are what I’m used to. Back of the room and enjoying the sound with a very level cohesiveness.
Big air. The A10’s bring separation to instruments with a forward feeling presence to each.
The 500’s sound like you are in a live setting without treatments . It’s beautiful.
The A10’s are more decisive in each instrument with individual presence without the back of the room experience

Props for doing single speaker comparisons. You can tell alot about a speaker by listening to just one. Plus you can do them side by side like you did here

In this video I kind of like the A500SE a bit better - the A10 sounded clearer but I bit too forward for my liking.

In video #5, I preferred the A10 as the vocals sounded much clearer than the A500.

Better high frequency dispersion on the A10. I can't hear the wave guide on the A10s. On the A500 I can.

How do you think the A10s would sound with the new Buchardt Sub that is on presale right now? I know no one has heard it yet, but do you feel more bass would add to the experience much?

I don't know if this makes sense, but to my ears (yes, over YT with headphones):

A500: live performance in a small venue with great acoustics

A10: live performance in a more intimate setting with SRV right in front of you

You must be using master tuning for this.

Its a shame the levels are so different. Most people will prefer the louder one. And it will change the recordede sound and the room interactions and so on and on and on therefore yes you could hear the difference but maybe its not so much in reality or maybe its even more who could know. But the sound on your recording of sound of silence is very good

Can't tell soundstage/image over internet with headphones but the A10 upper-midrange-lower-treble are way airier and easy. Big +. IMHO.
