We're seeing the first signs of Fall! And we're keeping the music going at the Farmers Market at CT's Old State House.

Nekita Waller is Connecticut's 17th State Troubadour. As State Troubadour, Nekita has been performing her original song, Connecticut Anthem, at schools and special events. Nekita is the first African American soloist and first non-folk genre artist to be chosen as Connecticut’s State Troubadour. Nekita's music has been described as pop and soul. She performs her original music along with music spanning many decades and different genres from Motown, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to hits of today.

Stop by every Friday at lunchtime to hear a different band play each week on the west side patio of Connecticut’s Old State House. Bring your lunch and enjoy the music!

Thank you to our friends from the Richard P. Garmany Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and the Evelyn Preston Memorial Fund for their generous funding of the 2024 Summer Concert Series.
