BIG NEWS: The River Cottage Food Tube channel is live! And to celebrate Jamie is helping his old mate Hugh cook up a beautiful sausage casserole recipe and giving you a sneak peak at the type of amazing food you can expect from their videos.

The River Cottage channel is a family of talented foodies lead by the incredible Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall; chef,writer, campaigner and all-round top bloke. These guys are all about simple seasonal food, created from careful ingredients and love of the land they come from.

What I really like about Hugh's channel is that they present down-to-earth dishes using everyday ingredients plus often pieces of meat that are frowned upon or just thrown away. Also their sausage-making, -smoking and -curing is phenomenally easy to do & produces great tasty results. This is so exciting! I love seeing simple, non-technical dishes that I can cook easily at home. With cheap and cheerful, readily-available ingredients.

Huge fan of you Hugh! I'd love to see the sorts of dishes that most other chefs are 'afraid' of doing. Pig's trotters, offal, brawn, livers, and all sorts of delicious dishes that you can make from the less used parts of an animal.
