When I found this artist a while back, I didn't know what the word Lorn meant so I looked it up and it litterally means Alone. The type of music this man makes can be described in no other way, other than, Alone. At least that's how I feel when I listen to his stuff. I am alone, we're all alone, and alone sounds like this.

Over a year ago a dear friend of mine introduced me to Lorn. The incredible amount of work and care that went into the animations intrigued me back then, but the music didn't quite stick with me at first. Recently he invited me over and one of these songs played in the background again, and this time it stuck. It feels like I had these songs in the background of my consciousness all this time, settling in, making space for themselves in my psyche, awaiting the day I would finally be ready to receive them. Now I'm playing them on repeat, appreciating them more and more every time. Lorn truly is one of a kind
