I’m sure it’s good but it’s not nearly worth the price. Especially when I already have a ps5. Even if I traded in my old ps5 I’d only get like $200-$300 out of it so I’d still be out $400-$500. I’m better off waiting for a sale. Or more likely just waiting for the PS6. 😂

dont forget yall, the tv matters too. you cant put a ps5 on grandmas old plasma tv and expect perfect results.

I returned mine and got a gaming pc I wasn’t impressed. Once you said thanks to Sony I know you wouldn’t say the truth. In the games I played I didn’t notice a difference, console is still loud with coil whine compared to the series x which is quiet.

My solution is always gonna be get a PC, sure it’ll be hard at first but it’s much more worth it. Plus it’s much more versatile, I’m doing all my college papers one second then I’m playing Pokemon on an emulator.

When it comes to default system settings are you choosing performance mode or resolution mode? I figured with the Pro those two options wouldn’t even be a thing anymore. Im still unsure which one to choose. I thought it was going to eliminate that choice. I’m still conflicted 😭

The problem I have is this is what we were promised 4k upscaled 60 native 4k native 30, now we have to buy a new console and a disc drive, fuck that and fuck Sony

I don't think there is any question that it's not impressive - although the fact that there are three modes means that there are still compromises - but it's the problematic pricing, no optical drive and no vertical stand in the box (they want another £25 for a cheap stand??) that's really pissed people off.

Nah, I'm just going to keep my regular PS5 because I only play PS5 for exclusive games. Other than that, I play on PC.

If it came with the disc drive, stand and the dualsense edge controller maybe it would justify the price.. As it is however already owning a PS5 myself, it's a definite no.

I have a pro with a Sony tv that is VRR compatible and I also have a ps5 and I see a difference as well and to me it’s worth it and my pc collects dust
