This might be Dhar’s best skit to date.

I love how unlike in most videos, the two conflicting sides don’t have someone who’s clearly and right and someone who’s clearly wrong, it really reflects realistic situations where arguing sides both have some merit to what they’re saying, in this case, they both need money because they’re both struggling. Even though Jared is the more aggressive one at first, the skit never goes out of its way to make him look unnecessarily mean or unreasonable, and despite how the format goes in these skits when Mary is the first to reveal her struggle, what she goes through is never made to be seen as more important than what Jared goes through. Not to mention the way they found a solution is realistic, they tried out other ideas and it didn’t work, I feel that most of Dhar’s skits get their problems resolved a little too quickly for my liking, but it worked great here.

And best of all, I could FEEL the chemistry between Jared and Mary, their expressions and body language really sold it for me. They may be the very first actors in a skit who weren’t together at the beginning that I wanted to get together.
