Thank you so much for getting the permit and allowing us to share in this epic park, even if you couldn’t film everywhere. I have never been to Yosemite and really appreciate being able to see the vastness and beauty that is Yosemite.❤

We just got home 5 hours ago from a 24 day road trip with my wife and two girls (7&10) 17 States, n5 major National Parks, 35 smaller units and 20 + unique places all along the eastern part of the US. It was all flawless thanks in large part to hours researching your videos <3 Words cannot express my gratitude. We LOVE you both!! Our next big trip will include Yosemite, so you can imagine who excited and grateful I was to see this POP up! THANK YOU <3

I wanted to thank you for getting the permit so that you could film in the park. As a Californian, Yosemite is the only national park I have visited multiple times, but I haven't been there in many years. Usually when I watch your videos, it is to see places I either hope to visit or to see places I cannot visit myself. It was wonderful watching this video and remembering the many beautiful places I have seen in Yosemite. As always, your videos are awesome!

OMG!! BEAUTIFULLY DONE!! We did the Upper Falls Trail, and it was seriously a beast! All those stairs and switchbacks! We live in California and visit often, but your amazing quality and love-of-nature commentary make us want to go as if we've never been! Absolutely love Yosemite!! ❤️

Y'all, this is SO GOOD. My favorite video from y'all yet! Not only was this an exhausting list of activities, but filming it all so beautifully! Respect for y'all's hard work and enthusiasm throughout!! Love it!

When I was little, I used to get to go camping in Yosemite on a regular basis. I remember getting up at night to use the bathroom, and bears would be roaming the woods freely, and we were not scared, they did not bother us! I love Yosemite, we are so lucky to have
that park here in Cali.

I live in CA and have been to Yosemite many, many times. My parents used to take us camping in the valley every spring break. One early spring I rode my bike around everywhere in the valley. It was my absolute favorite way to explore and really see the valley. Every season is magical. The sunset on half dome, the fall colors, the snowy winter wonderland and snowboarding Badger Pass, the stunning waterfall snowmelt in the spring. I'm glad you made it up to Tuolome Meadows. Thanks for sharing your adventure ! You actually did some things I've never done so now I need to go back!😊

WOW.!! Hard to believe it's been almost 50 years since I took a 3 week cross country motorcycle trip which included Yosemite. Mostly drive throughs and seeing as much as possible. You've filled in many gaps. Thank you. Now with knee pain hiking is only done in videos. The only I didn't miss was all the mosquitos. Lol.

As a trucker I only had like 4 hours after I got into the park to see it. It was nice and cool I think it was in April 2 years ago but we made it to the sunset at the waterfall and the stars light up the sky so much I got epic pics with my iPhone of all the stars and moon. I sure want to go back. Most national parks I been to I’ve had almost whole day to check out but Yosemite is like 2 hours from a city.

I watched "Free Solo" on my flight from Europe 2 days before I went to Yosemite Valley. Couldn't believe the movie was real when I stood in front of this massive granite wall. Incredible! Can't wait to get onto my hike from Mammoth to Tuolumne in a month...
Safe travels

Your motivation and knack for avoiding crowds even at one of the busiest national parks is very inspiring!

Your "slowed-down" travel method has really made for even more enjoyable videos. So cool you got a permit to film as well.

I know you are trying to do more off camera, but I very much appreciate all your National Park videos! I have re-watched your Alaska videos several times to help plan my trip (I leave in a week!!). I love the way you travel and how you do popular things, and also not quite as popular things, and I also love your food recs!! (I went to Denver Biscuit Co because of you guys! lol). Hopefully this video pays for the permit haha

Tuolumne Meadows is my favorite base camp destination in Yosemite.
I generally plan on arriving the East side of the park in mid to late-September, when the crowds have abated and the cold nights have addressed the mosquito population.
However, the tourist crowding in the valley is too high even in late-September for my full enjoyment.

I've been watching so many of your videos, going back to your Alaska series as well since I didn't get a chance to watch those videos when they came out! I was so excited to see a video about Yosemite, I showed my husband the video and told him I can't WAIT to go on a family vacation there when our kids are older!!
