A video about the most iconic plays and memories of League of Legends Esports

All footage belongs to Riot Games or the corresponding esports organizations.

This should not be construed as the perfect objective selection of moments. I tried to find a balance between the amount of moments included, the video length, the diversity of regions, events and players. Also the approach of the video is not to show the best plays ever, but the moments that are often quoted, had a bigger impact on League of Legends esports as a whole and are remembered by a big part of the community. Furthermore this video is obviously biased as I have the "EU perspective". You might think some moments are missing and that is okay. Everyone has their own perception, this video shows mine.

During the editing of those two videos I was convinced that they were good, but I was not confident that they would be that successful.
I came up with this idea and started working on it over a year ago and I didn't expect this outcome.

i used to watch league highlights with hype comentairy not knowing wtf is happening, years later when i started playing league andi watch these highlights i still dont know wtf is happening on the screen

The old Summoner's Rift theme has that aura of preparing you for a heroic journey that can take you anywhere from the depths of hell or the silver cities above and you are just one guy behind the wheel, it is epic, it is grandiouse, it is fitting.

Doublelift's play at 18:38 was so insane. The fight goes so badly, but he stays so calm and holds onto his sums for so long. He's at 10% hp when he finally uses his heal, and he only uses it to give Svenskeren a boost. Then when the time is right, he turns the whole fight around and flashes forward. The presence of mind (no pun intended) needed to know the exact right moment to flip the switch is wild.
