In this video I go over yet another example on trig substitution for integrals and this time solve the integral of the function x/sqrt(3-2x-x^2). In this example we first have to rewrite the function inside the square root by completing the square and using regular substitution to make it in the form we are familiar with to apply trig substitution.

I don't always solve integrals using trig substitution but when I do I usually complete the square and use regular substitution before finally using trig substitution to solve the integral ;)
