I have had a child pass away. Losing her was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I personally love the gravestone with the baby and the crib. What a wonderful tribute

Fun fact: Giles Corey, the one whose tombstone read Pressed to Death, is the only person in American history to have died by press. He refused to "admit" to being a witch, and would respond when asked if he was a witch, "More weight."

The one tombstone isn't a threat. "To the person passing by, as you are now so was I, as I am now you soon will be, prepare yourself and pray for me". That's telling people to enjoy your life while you have it cause it goes fast and death is inevitable.

My Husband and I met when we were Kids, I was 14. We married at 16. He always said, " I love you beyond all believe" He was Hawaiian and Samoan, a big guy with a bigger heart. He was a Police Officer for 18yrs. We had 34yrs together, in fact we would have celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary had he not been murdered 5yrs ago. The Plaque on the Urn says the usual plus, "LOVED BEYOND ALL BELIEVE" I feel the same too Babe. Rest in Peace, I will see you again. I love and miss you with all my ❤

My husband wants one of the bells they used to put at graves and around the big toe if the deceased, but he wants it to be motion activated 😂

11:44 It’s actually common to see lamb sculptures on the tombs of infants from the 19th and early 20th centuries. I think it represents the small, helpless innocence of the child and the parents’ hope that Jesus as the Shepherd would guide their little one to heaven.

There are two Grave stones in a cemetery in Loveland stating that the inhabitants were "Killed by Lightning". This was a euphemism for being killed by Native Americans. two of my favorite tombstone messages: First, " Remember friend, as you walk by, as you are now, so once was I. As I am now, you soon shall be. Remember this, and follow me". A little while along in the same cemetery." To follow you, I'll not consent. Until I know which way you went".

Re Shakespeare: "iesvs" is Jesus. Swapping the J or an I and U for V was common in typesetting, carving, and handwriting.
