Residents voice frustrations over large snow mounds

Snow may have stopped falling by Friday, but the aftermath of the white stuff is still a danger to travelers in Minneapolis.

Snow mounds are good because it's off the street. I drove my school bus today and the minneapolis city streets weren't cleared yet. Get the snow off the streets first! I got stuck twice!

St. Paul has the worst roads and snow plowers. Corners are never cleared. And when we clear them hear come the plows throwing the snow back on the sidewalks and piling high all corners, they dig up big chunks of snow from the streets that's almost impossible to clear especially when it freezes over night. And local plow drivers can not drop their blade on public roads. There are so many plow drivers in my neighborhood that want to help but are afraid of getting ticketed. St. Paul's plowing is never consistent has never been.

Welcome to my daily life that is 6 months every year in Moorhead MN. Minneapolis is about 4 months. With the surplus in Minnesota, . you think that they could give more money for snow gates, to better clean the end of driveways, so I don't have a heart attack, I have high blood pressure. Feels like I am going to fall over dead. Living in this blue state, being single with no dependants, you have to work 12 hour days to survive. I am shot after I am done removing snow. With all of the high taxes, they could do more. No other place in the country has winter for 6 months other than Moorhead MN!

They've "billed" 120 property owners? In a city of 425, 000 people? Great numbers!

Maybe if tons of people complain they will do something but honestly, I don't see how they gonna do anything about this problem. Come on, Minneapolis is how old? And for all those years the problem has never been resolved.
