What's YOUR favorite swap from 2024?

You don't have to send in darn toughs, you just bring them into a seller and trade them out, I've done it twice now. They really are amazing! I hike a lot and that the only reason I've needed to trade them out

I love my fabric shaver. I've had it about 10 years and used it alot. I'm surprised the blades inside haven't become dull. Im glad you brought that one up, it's definitely a winner!

Genuine question: I'm confused, how is wool not vegan? It doesn't harm the animal at all and not trimming a sheep's wool can actually harm them. EDIT: I thought about it some more and I suppose it's more about the ethical sourcing of wool. I'm clearly not a vegan but things like animal hair and antler sheds don't seem bad to me. But again, not a vegan. ❤

Some of my 2024 favourites are oldies, for good reason being favourites.
Cloth hankies, serviettes and tea towels (instead of paper towels). My grandchildren, ages 3, 4 and 6, think it's normal for them to use reusable everything at Oma Girl and Opa Boy's house. Serviettes/napkins were renamed by Miss6 as face towels. One kiddo asked me for cloth hankies when I asked what they would like for a present.
I also love my epilator for shaving. Yes, it hurts more than shaving, but not much more. Plus, I'm not buying expensive replacements, nor am I knicking myself.

Hi Emma! I started watching your videos a few months ago. You inspired me to conserve water, use what I have, buy more second hand and swap some things that I ran out of for a more sustainable version. Thank you. Great Christams and a new year to you and your family 😊

Very excited to have my fiancé try the darn tough socks, his work boots shred his favorite type of sock pretty quickly!😭 I’m also excited because I’ve watched enough of your videos to kind of know how you talk and can watch your videos on my normal 1.5x speed😌 however it’s making my other videos sound a bit slower now 🧐😂 Thank you for posting ! 💝 I was very excited to see this video because the best time to do eco/zero waste swaps is birthday/Christmas!! (For me they’re both in December) 😍😍 For the past few years I’ve had lists going all year of more expensive startup items that I come back around to during gifting holidays when people ask what I want 🤭 you get a few funny looks here and there but it’s SOOO worth it to get those things and at no cost to you! 😅 thx again ! You rock ! 💝

My favorite new swap of 2024 is the Plaine Products Beauty Oil. It's the only moisturizer I can actually use (including eye creams) around my eyes without burning or stinging. I never would have tried it if I hadn't won it in your giveaway. Thanks Emma!

I absolutely love Wrappily!!! I love their original wrapping papers and ribbons the most, but I must say the tissue paper and gift tags from Target are also great! I had no idea the tissue paper is made of sugarcane!

Yay top 45 and top 10 likes and comments. Love this channel. Best to you and your family. Thanks for making this video. Happy

This morning when i left my house the temp was 14°, real feel 8°. It was COLD 🥶

I listened to a few audiobooks in the past, and if there's a book i LOVE that i can't find an ebook version, i would listen to audiobooks in the future, but it isn't my preferred way of reading. I wouldn't be able to completely focus on it

I picked up a piece of packing paper off the floor at Target, and when i asked the cashier at Target what they would do with it, they said they'd just trash it, so i asked if i could take it. They said yes, i took it home, drew Christmas-y things all over it, and used it to wrap my mom's presents.

I bought a Superdry coat almost 10 years ago, it is still in good condition. I am bored of wearing it year after year but it does the job so well I dont have an excuse to change it.

Can we please get a deep dive into Caraway Home?? I have been obsessed with their cooking and baking sets for years but once I started to look more into their manufacturing (in China) and some of their claims I am disappointed. Thank you for this great video and Happy Holidays!

I feel like paper packaged products like lip balm and deodorant. The packaging will very from batch to batch and it doesn't really have that much to do with the company. So one time you buy it the lid stays on the next time you buy it the lid falls off all the time. Or the tube is a little tighter so it's harder to push up or it's super loose and won't stay up at all. Plus that also is affected by temperature and some companies recommend warming it in your hands for a little bit before pushing.

I make allot of my own products like lip balm, lotion and "vaseline." I have found the recipes on Google as well as YouTube. Sometimes it takes a little while to find the recipe you like, but it's worth it. I actually love the stuff I make more then store bought. It also really doesn't take that much effort to make. I also make extra so I'm really only making things about once a year.

As much as I would love to only eco friendly bug repellent, its not effective enough in many environments. It's very important to do our best to avoid mosquito bites, not just treat the itch. Mosquitos carry some serious viruses

There are non-electric pill shaver options. There’s the sweater stone, sweater combs, and just using a razor. I use all 3. I prefer the sweater stone overall, but then use the other two for more fragile material. Some tend to lose more fibers when pulled at by the sweater stone, versus lifting off what’s already pilled.
