Great video and like you, I am mourning our Queen. She truly was an amazing lady. Well done on your ffo’s. Love your hair too - really suits you. Hope you enjoy your stitchy catch up. Thanks for sharing everything. Happy stitching.

Hi Elaine, love your finishes. Your drum is gorgeous! I think you did a great job. I never seem to be able to get mine that straight. Lovely progress on your WIPs. The blue fabric is absolutely perfect. Love the new fabric that you got. I can’t get my head round the fact that our Queen is no longer here. It all feels so strange right now. Take care. Happy stitching 😊

Always enjoy your chatty updates. Your finished and projects all look amazing!

I'm glad to hear your lock/door incident turned out okay

I love your book updates; I've added the keeper of happy ends to my Kindle, it sounds like a nice read as I generally grab for an easy read with a happy ending as I mostly read when I'm putting the baby down for a nap or just before I am going to bed myself.

Thanks for sharing your book of days and your update. I wish you happy stitching

Hi Elaine! Your drum finish looks terrific! I’ve been a bit unsure how much I will enjoy the border on Louisa, so I loved hearing you enjoyed it! I’m so glad you joined our SAL. 💕

Nice to see you again Elaine! Loved your finishes and your wips are coming along nicely! We feel the loss of our head of state here in Canada as the U.K. is feeling the loss of your Queen. She was well loved and respected here. Love your hair! It suits you so well! Have a great three weeks! Take care!

I think the black border is taking away the softness of the flower border. It's a beautiful piece and your fabric is so pretty. I should say though, I don't use black very often. It seems too stark. Sending condolences for the Queen. She was a very great lady. So sorry for your country's loss. 💜

Great video and stitching as always! So glad your lock-out got resolved. Love the House of the Dragon (actually more than GOT) but having trouble getting into the Rings of Power (and I'm a Tolkien fanatic). So sorry for the loss of the Queen. She was an exceptional woman.

Brilliant video as usual, love your Reflets de Soie start, it’s beautiful. I’m also feeling emotional about the death of the Queen, more than I thought I would. Have fun at the retreat.

Your Sampler September is going to be lovely! I can’t wait to see all your progress as the end of the month.
Isn’t technology lovely?? 🙄. I hope you find all your progress pictures.
I received your lovely package of the 31 pattern the other day- it really cheered me up on a tough week! Thank you again for the stitch kindness:)

Hi Elaine.. Can't believe you've finished Brooms! I'm not finished, got about a 3rd left.. my stitching bug has gone again 😥 All your finishes are wonderful, well done on the drum 👏👏
In also very sad about the Queens passing, it's very surreal. 😥
P.s. love the new hair colour, really suits you 😊

Loving the hair Ellie! Your drum would look good with a cord made from the same floss. Teresa showed some that she'd made using a tutorial by Vonna. Using tailor's chalk for the heart on Morris Dancer is a good idea, but whynot draw a heart template to draw round? Looking forward to seeing Louisa Barney next weekend

Hi Elaine! So sorry you had your lock incident but so glad a neighbor helped you out so you didn't have to deal with the deluge of rain. Congrats on 3 FFOs. I like the frame you chose for Snail House. Your drum of Klara Hansen looks wonderful! Your Blackberry Dragon is coming along nicely. Nice progress on both that and Cheese Delivery! Whoever came up with the tailor chalk idea for your freehand heart is brilliant. So glad you got your huge spoon fully stitched. It is so lovely. I look forward to see your progress on it every time you show it. Sweater Weather is so cute! You made good progress on it as well. Your fingers have been extremely busy with your stitching and finishing. I am not sure if I have Sulky white but I will have to remember that for future white stitching. I am working on a monochrome piece called Savior which I am stitching in a Threadworx floss and not really liking their cotton floss. I like the fabric you chose for your Bella Filipina pattern and think it will look really great on there. I bet you are getting excited for your trip by now. I am doing quite a bit of stitching right now, taking advantage of the time that I don't have Walter and cannot do a lot of cleaning etc. although it is driving me slightly crazy to barely be able to sweep my floor every other day instead of every day (Texas has so much dust and pollen!!!) and not being able to mop my floor is really, really bugging me. Go back to the orthopedic doc on the 27th so hopefully will get the 10 pound lifting limit removed. Hope you have a wonderful time at your catch up retreat. Happy stitching.
