Should you stack Peace Silver Dollars? I think there are some cool aspects of doing so, but I'm not too convinced that it's necessarily the best way to go about owning silver poundage at current prices and premiums. What do you think? I feel like there are some good ways to get an edge, whether that be learning the Peace Dollar VAMs, cherrypicking for quality, being willing to buy in bulk, and other suggestions we'll go over. Let me know your thoughts below.

*I just LOVE this coin. I have it (1923) and it's a true beauty.*

I love peace dollars and will keep buying them. I hope one day they will see the same interest as morgans

I am trying to collect a Peace Dollar collection one at a time graded VF or better. I am currently 1/3 of the way through. Wish me luck as they are harder to get here in Canada.

I wouldn't stack peace dollars. It's like stacking Morgan's, barber's or seated liberties, just not worth it

I don't really collect coins. I grab what I like, and I like peace and Morgan's. Collecting imo is a scam. Coinstores sell you a so called collectable but will only buy back at bullion prices. It's a scam.
So I mainly stack, but I love the big coins.

Yeah not the greatest coin for stacking. But cool coin that I hope to have in my collection soon.

Yeah right... junk silver's not so junk money 🤣 I would concentrate on .999 if you're going to stack

In my opinion, don't stack these. I collect these as a full set. I only stack dimes and quarters. Easy to trade and sell if I need to. Just my opinion. To each their own.

To collect nice pieces yes, but stacking no. 👍👍

I’ve bought MANY = PCGS MS-64 common date Peace dollars @ $66.00/each .... 90% of these look like MS-65’s ... another consideration .... during great $50 moments of silver prices = lots of these were melted down ... they’re actually RARE now ...

A little over a year ago, a local pawn shop had 31 uncirculated Peace Dollars for sale. He marked them at $21.00 each, and although that was already an amazing price, I talked him down to $20.00 each if I took them all, which I did. All checked out real with ping app, rare earth magnet test, and weight on jeweler's scale. All high luster coins. Very minty.

I came across a 1921 Peace dollar earlier this year. Thought I would add it to the few I already had at the time. Since it is one of the key dates, I have now decided to pursue filling up a book with all of the dates. May be easier than the Morgans right now, at least for me.

I have started collecting full peace dollars, I like the feel of them, I grew up with them.

Just turned down 2 today and I'm completely new at this. Ungraded they were $90 and $65. Very pretty but these aren't the times for fashion, we need function.

Not being American, my US coin choices are not flavoured by patriotism. Not living in the US I realise most US coins are not for my collection( for later re-selling).
The American Silver Eagles and Morgans are the most recognisible around the world, so who wouldn't collect them?(rhetoric) From an art appreciation pov they 'hit the spot', and from the resale pov they're hot. I'm mostly buying slabbed 'Top Pop' ASEs and Morgans at US$800-$1700, but I will look for a few(slabbed) Peace dollars also.
I also have a few raw ASEs and Morgans and a couple of 2022 American Liberty Medals.
To import a raw coin and then send it to the US for NGC/PCGS grading; it better be worth it!! Thus, my reason for buying mainly slabbed US coins.

If someone is just a stacker, I'd say no. For a stacker/coin collector, it's a decent option.

I just scored a flipped 34 peace. I found a ding on its rim once I removed the flip. I still love the coin and I think it should grade MS but wondering if worth submitting. I don’t take rejection well

You can stack Peace dollars if you buy culls cheap. I am currently putting together a complete Peace dollar set in AU grade or above. Am only missing the 1934 S. Some of the key dates get pricey in higher grade condition.
