Jim's so talented. Basically, an homage to the greatest singer/entertainer of the 60's and 70's bar none.The irony that Sir Tom Jones was knighted isn't lost on me, as he began as a teen singing to coal miners in his small town in Wales, and the Welsch historically hated the English monarchy and tyranny. Tom did the long drive to London for his shot on the BBC, and was told "It's television, you can't just stand and sing." His adaptation to that education from London television reporters made him the world's sex symbol, and consummate singer, leading to "This is Tom Jones", a show I loved as a teen in the US. From "It;s Not Unusual" in 1965 onward, I've loved the great man and his singing and songs.

What a voice...here I am 70 & falling in love with Tom Jones all over again. Even now at 80 he sounds fantastic. Jim Carey, I love you too. 😂

Today this may look dated, but let's remember that this clip of Carrey is from 1983, when he was around 21, and Jones himself was in his early 40's...Still a great song...
