It's crazy to think how people still believe to this day that George Lucas has to be argued with and fought about his scripts and story.

Lucas literally changed the lore of Star Wars just because Sam Jackson asked him for a purple blade.

It's very simple, George always got what he wanted, and in actuality would have to also shut down stupid ideas from directors and Marcia for the OT.
If George likes your idea, he will change to whatever it is.
It doesn't seem like he needs that much convincing.

Plus, nobody watches behind the scenes and don't seem to understand the influence all the actors and art designers have who helped Lucas, yes, even for the Prequels.

i think the purple is like plasma there is probably several states of plasma and purple possibly being the most pure form and there fore the strongest form of plasma so it charges the coil to make plasma before realeasing it in a violent blast to the target
