This did not help since I do not have "Sync Library" as an option. What did work was going to "Finder" on my mac and manually syncing my music from there (had to do multiple searches online until I found the solution)

hi, i had over 100 albums before getting a free trial on apple music, however iTunes had matched all my music to apple music during the free trial, i also got some songs off the music store but once my trial had finished all my songs have disappeared including the songs I hadn't purchased off apple music store.
