I'm a big fan of disaster movies. The 70s were the golden age of the best disaster movies of all times. The formula for those movies was an A-list casting, well paced dialogue, scenes that didn't bore you and a bit of camp and humor to loosen the picture up. I'm only watching this to see Jurgen and Eric for as long as I can tolerate the movie.

Jürgen Prochnow is a great actor. I like the work Eric Roberts has done with so many others most of us don't even know about. I have been on a movie set only once and I could not believe how many people were working there.

The star of this 1995 movie Eric Roberts, now 63 (2019) is the only actor in US entertainment history to have more than 500 credits to his name for his work in blockbusters, independent films, animated films, TV series, animated series, short films and student films. His career best came in 1985 when he gained both Gold Globe and Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Runaway Train although he won neither. He has an extraordinarily large body of work although many films he has appeared in a B grade and even worse. He is the brother of Julia Roberts (now 55, 2019) whose career has far eclipsed his.
